Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to familiarise students with issues related to fundamental psychological concepts, concepts and theories, psychological mechanisms regulating human behaviour and mental processes. The course aims to help students understand the primary psychological mechanisms of human functioning and their impact on user behaviour when interacting with digital products. In addition, by providing insight into the arcana of the psychologist's workshop (e.g. interviewing techniques and the propaedeutics of psychological diagnosis), the student will possess tools to facilitate smoothly navigating a work environment where social relationships are primary. As part of the module, the student will become familiar with fundamental issues related to, for example, cognitive and Gestalt psychology. They will also correctly use psychological interviewing tools and become familiar with the principles of correct questionnaire construction. Completing the module will enrich the student with indispensable knowledge, skills and social competencies useful for work related to human functioning in the information society. |

In the course of the module, the student will learn the terminology of psychology. In addition, they will gain knowledge related to the psychological aspects of information architecture.
