Learning outcome of the module Codes of the learning outcomes of the programme to which the learning outcome of the module is related [level of competence: scale 1-5]
The student knows the concepts of computer graphics, especially related to resolution, file formats, and bit depth. Knows software used in the process of digitizing documents. Knows what optical character recognition (OCR) is all about. Knows various methods of digitizing three-dimensional objects. Knows what photogrammetry is. Knows software for digitizing and processing 3D objects. [DD02_1]
K_W02 [5/5] K_W04 [2/5] K_W05 [2/5]
The student is able to improve the appearance of document images, as well as change their dimensions, resolution, and bit depth. Performs activities in batches simultaneously for many files. The student can select the optimal scanning or photographing parameters for a given document. The student can create editable PDF files from document images, taking care to ensure high-quality reproduction of the original and reasonable size of the resulting file. The student is able to digitize 3D objects, especially using photogrammetry, as well as make corrections to digitized models. [DD02_2]
