Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module introduces to the issue of power in its broadest sense (meaning), and develops students' skills of anthropological reflection on various aspects of its presence, but also forms of resistance to it. The classes allow students to become acquainted with the main theoretical and research trends concerning power that have emerged in cultural anthropology, but also within other humanities (e.g. philosophy) and social sciences (e.g. sociology). The topics of module helps to develop knowledge and skills useful in students later professional work. |
