Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to introduce the issues related to religion as a cultural phenomenon; to distinguish between institutionalized and non-institutionalized, visible and invisible forms of religious life; to present the peculiarities of anthropological study of religious phenomena; to show the socio-cultural functions of religion; to indicate the differences between pre-modern and modern forms of religious life; to provide elementary knowledge of the world's major religions.
