Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the classes carried out as part of the module is to present and explain to students the genesis of creation, conditions (political, social, military, economic), goals, development and current functioning of the European Union (European Communities). As part of the module, students will mainly learn about the following topics: - genesis, creation and development of the EU (EC) membership, - political specificity and legal nature of the EU, - legal bases and sources of law in the EU, - division of competences between the EU and the Member States and common EU policies, - the EU institutional system, the EU decision-making mechanism and the relationship between the EU political system and the political system of the Member State, - Poland’s membership in the EU - the road to membership, conditions, consequences (political, economic, social).
