Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to involve the student in the research work of the Polish Ethnographic Atlas, which involves, among other things, a broad analysis of the source resources of the Cieszyn Archive of the Polish Ethnographic Atlas. The students, together with the instructor, will participate in a long-term project aimed - depending on the need - at enriching and popularizing the atlas' heritage (e.g., developing maps dealing with the subject of Polish rural culture and/or preparing for digitization work, etc.). The project envisages team work of a workshop character, carried out directly in classes at the PAE Archive with the use of specialized software.
