Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module deals with selected aspects of the role of art in cognition and interpretation of reality from the perspective of cultural anthropology. The student is introduced to the ways of understanding art in the context of historical, social, and cultural background, and the value of art as a carrier of intercultural and interpersonal dialogue. Using selected examples - the relationship between European art and the art of the Indigenous is discussed.
