Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Ethnolinguistics module aims to introduce the issue of the participation of language in the social construction of reality; to present methodological problems of anthropological research and interpretation of linguistic phenomena; to show the socio-integrative function of natural language; to provide knowledge about the relationship between the linguistic and discursive image of the world; to broaden and deepen selected issues related to the participation of language in the formation of human experience. The module is also intended to provide an understanding of the world-forming dimension of language and the possibility of reconstructing historical ways of perceiving the world on the basis of linguistic material.
