Description:
Master diploma laboratory III: allows students to practically prepare scientific texts – master’s diploma theses. It enables the implementation of the preparation of a master’s thesis in relation to analytical parts, in terms of compiling results and a part including interpretation and presentation of final results in direct cooperation with the teacher. Laboratory teaches the use of methods for the use and presentation of developed data and the interpretation of research results and their correct description, together with an illustration adequate to the topic being implemented. It enables a detailed team discussion on the description and illustration of research results and their interpretation, as well as confrontation with the results of other research and formulation of final conclusions. Laboratory develops the ability to apply the correct technique of writing a master's thesis. Checks the correct citation and compilation of bibliography, the use of footnotes and the final editorial of the thesis.
Prerequisites:
Completion of course: Master diploma laboratory II, Master's seminar I, II and III are the recommended educational modules in the field of geographical information systems and master’s field exercises.
