Description:
The course enables student to increase his knowledge of satellite technology and recent developments in remote sensing. The student participating in the course have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with different methods of analysis of digital images and different applications used in satellite data processing. The student defines, describes and explains concept of use of remote sensing data for monitoring and understanding of fundamental phenomena and processes happened on the earth's surface. Focus is placed on a good working knowledge of remote sensing in geographical information systems, administration managements and scientific research.
Prerequisites:
Basics from mathematics and physics on the level of secondary school. The course is provided in English therefore students attending it should be able to understand written and spoken English
