Description:
The course consists of 60 contact hours (conversation and grammar) during which students learn vocabulary, create dialogues in pairs and then act them out in front of the group. Texts and lexical material give students an insight into German-speaking countries. Students practice listening comprehension of dialogues and get familiar with grammatical structures necessary to formulate an utterance. Grammatically correct communication and metalanguage awareness are the focal point, as students are to become German language teachers in the future.
