Description:
Practical classes in public service interpreting (community interpreting) focusing on legal (court, police) and medical settings and their specialist terminology. Characteristics of public service interpreting and role(s) of the sworn/certified translators and interpreters, watching and analysis of videos of interpreter-mediated interactions in medical and legal settings.
