Description: | Students in conversation classes develop their English speaking skills on the level CAE/CP-C1, improve their speaking fluency and the correctness of their speech and accent. Students are also engaged in interactive exercises to further their communicative skills. During class, particular attention is paid to the development of vocabulary (including specialized vocabulary), and, due to prepared themes, the development of students’ awareness of cultural and linguistic factors. During class, attention is also paid to students’ correct interpretation of linguistic signals, and students should also improve their ability to express views based upon acquired general knowledge. In the course of the lessons the instructor may make use of various topics and themes in order to encourage discussion, inspire the students to engage actively in the work, and permit them to further develop their own interests. |
