Description: | The aim of this module is to introduce students to basic concepts and terminology of translation. To present core elements of a translation process and the ways and strategies for translation of literary and practical texts. To present translator’s workbench. To develop skills which are necessary for the use of translator’s workbench (glossaries, dictionaries, etc.), for critical and literary analysis of original texts and their translations, for practical application of translation theory in case of translation problems and for evaluation and correction of translations. |
