Description:
The course offers an overview of a selected problem or trend from cultures of English-speaking countries. Special emphasis is laid on the historical and cultural background of given cultural trends or phenomena as well as their place in discourse and broader context. The lectures introduce a theoretical cultural perspective. The classes aim at providing a detailed analysis and interpretation of particular texts, phenomena and cultural practices.

Successful completion of the fifth term of studies.
