Description:
The aim of the course is to offer in-depth reflections on the cultural context and significance of contemporary literary theory. The course focuses on the twentieth-century and the most recent developments but includes historical references. On the example of selected philosophical and/or social and/or political and/or aesthetic problems, the course addresses and examines the position of literary theory and critical/interpretative practices within contemporary humanities.
