Description:
The module’s purpose is to expand the knowledge of culture and literature acquired in the 4th semester of studies (History of American literature). The classes offer a detailed presentation and analysis of American literature and culture of a particular period or a selected trend, genre or motif present in American literature. The lectures introduce a critical and literary perspective and present a socio-cultural context of the relevant literature. The classes aim at providing a detailed analysis and interpretation of particular texts.
