Description: | The aim of the internship is to prepare students to carry out their future professional responsibilities and tasks. Students learn the realities of the working environment in companies whose activities allow for attaining skills defined by the study programmes’s learning outcomes. Students of Design of Interactive Entertainment and Localization of Games and Software (SPRINT-WRITE) will seek internship programmes in companies dealing with the production or distribution of videogames; in companies dealing with translation and localization of games and software; or in other digital media companies (e.g. digital advertising, translation and localization of websites, etc.). The internship allows students to accumulate experience through observation of the creative process of videogame development and / or localization as well as through becoming a temporary team member and taking an active part in completing these processes. Such aims comply with the general objectives of students’ internships: further developing the skills acquired in the course of studies; developing skills necessary for future careers; preparing students for carrying out assigned tasks; and supporting students’ entering the professional market. |
