Description: | Diploma Thesis Seminar 1 is an integral part of B.A. programmes. The central objective of each B.A. seminar is to guide the student toward his or her B.A. thesis documenting his or her own research and argumentative skills. The seminar is designed to aid the student in his or her efforts to develop skills in the area of independent research work. Equipped with proper intellectual tools, in the course of the seminar the student learns to professionally address problems of their interest within the limits of the expertise demarcated by the syllabi of all courses within the B.A. program. As a result, the student gains the capability to efficiently employ both his or her overall academic knowledge and his or her skills in using English for academic writing toward the production of a dissertation meeting globally accepted standards of academic writing and sound in terms of the methodology of academic research. |
