Description: | The aim of the course is to introduce students to basic phonetic and phonological descriptions of the English language. Students are acquainted with ways of describing articulation of English vowels and consonants, with variants of English phonemes, with methods of describing differences between British and American English and with phonological processes characteristic for the English language. |
