Description:
The elective module offers a selection of original courses: students choose a particular course from among course proposals pertaining to various forms of media narratives, including digital games. The module provides practical instruction in the design and creation of original media projects, the form, shape and scope of which depend on the detailed course syllabus. The course can be supplemented by a presentation of selected theoretical and critical approaches to narrative media forms. Course offer includes a course in game design and a course in more general media practices. Students are introduced to contemporary practices and techniques for creating media narratives and learn to use selected tools. Students also learn to creatively analyze the media, the narratives they present, and the cultural processes taking place around media practices, expressing them creatively as their own original media projects.
