Description:
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the terminology and analytic methods of syntax as a field of linguistics. During the course students learn about the types and structure of English phrases, clauses and sentences. Also, analytic methods used in syntax to show the internal structure of syntactic units are presented and discussed.

Students must get a credit at semester 2
