Description:
Celem modułu jest przedstawienie studentom wybranych zagadnień z zakresu socjolingwistyki. W ramach wykładów poruszane są następujące tematy: językoznawstwo strukturalne a socjolingwistyka (wymiar społeczny językoznawstwa strukturalnego, definicja socjolingwistyki, obiekt badań i podstawowe pojęcia); początki socjolingwistyki (A. Meillet); rozwój socjolingwistyki (koncepcja kodów językowych B. Bernsteina, typy reguł językowych, pojęcie wspólnoty językowej według W. Labova); pojęcie normy językowej (język potoczny/język staranny, normy obiektywne/subiektywne, reguły deskryptywne/preskryptywne, pojęcie niepewności językowej); czynniki społeczne determinujące badania socjolingwistyczne (wiek, płeć, grupa społeczna, położenie geograficzne etc); różne typy odmian językowych (podstawowe różnice między stylem kobiet i mężczyzn, cechy charakterystyczne języka młodzieży); dialekty w języku francuskim i języku polskim.
