Description:
The aim of the course is to present to students the principles of the development, construction and writing of scientific work, designed to prepare and write a diploma thesis by each participant. The aim of the seminar is to help in formulating the topic of work and in choosing the right bibliography for the student. During this time, students will get acquainted with the basic literature on Internet communication and the functioning of social media. The diploma seminar is a consultancy course consisting mainly in advising and criticizing the way students conduct scientific work. In addition, the aim of the seminar will be preparation of a report by the student on the research and project, presentation of the issues being the subject of the work.

Timely presentation of the finished diploma thesis. A prerequisite for the final pass is the acceptance of the work by the promoter (for review). The promoter accepts work when he / she considers that as a result of writing a thesis and the performance of the thesis related project, the student has sufficiently achieved the intended effects (binary assessment based on the student's activity and the effectiveness of his / her work).

Classes take place in the form of a seminar. Classes prepare for the technique and editing of master's thesis, its structuring, linguistic correctness, lecture of own concept, etc. During the seminar there are discussions of students and lecturers on topics related to the topic of the seminar, discussion of some works in this field, polemics. At the seminar, each student is required to report on one topic necessary for the correct implementation of the goal of the master's seminar, in reference to his master's thesis. Students refer to the next stages of preparing the thesis. If the student fulfills the above-mentioned tasks, he / she will complete the seminar with a pass.
