Description:
The aim of the subject will be to skilfully use a previously invented and written idea. Because the art of directing is the art of using cases and it is the ability to observe, collect and use their experiences and feelings, the director must be very sensitive, but must be assertive towards it. He should draw the most important matters from each topic, create themes around them and develop the story from them. Therefore, the student, through contact with professional directors, will gain knowledge about the director's work, including work during scenario analysis, extracting the best features from the script, telling stories in such a way as to attract, charm and stop the viewer. The participant will get acquainted with the director's basic values, get acquainted with the professional conceptual equipment, and will analyze the film pieces and TV genres presented to them. The student will learn how to communicate, to be understood, how to communicate to creators the content of creative ideas, and assembly work.
Prerequisites:
Student has to be good at interpersonal communication, he should be ready to present his ideas.

Test of knowledge, in writing, through proposals for script changes, so that eventually they lead to the final coherent idea for the completion of the work. The student has the task to demonstrate knowledge about European cinema and prepare for this knowledge.

The sensitivity of the student, the way of interpersonal communication, general student's knowledge, the ability to control the given situation and the coordination of all creative elements as the basis for the creation of the audiovisual work will be assessed.

Analysis of the literature on the subject, analysis of the lecture content, searching for examples in practice, independent implementation of the indicated material sections, including the subject literature.

Film analysis on the example of the work of selected Polish and world directors. The student's message regarding the ways of performing audiovisual works to be placed on the network will be checked.
