Description:
Shaping intercultural competences i san academic module which constitutes the general and, at the same time, scientific foundation for the course E-learning management in the culturally diverse environment. The module is aimed at: introducing students into the knowledge of the basics of shaping the individual’s competences, including the individual’s potentialities – dispositional (comprising the intellectual, motivational, emotional and acting potential of creating functioning in the multicultural reality), own (associated with the perception of the own possibilities and self-assessment skills), assigned (the social system of evaluating a person as a member of a particular group or groups); preparing students for understanding intercultural competences, including the competence to transgressive and emancipatory behaviours acquired in culturally diversified environments. The module contents are also aimed at preparing students for designing and conducting studies in multicultural environments.
Prerequisites:
implementation of the teaching effects of the following modules: selected concepts of contemporary philosophy, education, sociology and psychology
