Description:
The aim of the teaching module is to give the student a basic knowledge on work physiology, occupational safety and hygiene, ergonomics and work environment safety. Lectures present characteristics of physical, operational and office-intellectual work as well as the characteristics of the occupational environment and threats. The basic preventions methods of the occupational and environmental threats are presented. The classes concern basic measurements and assessment methods of physical and mental work capacity, physical and mental work load, basic environmental characteristic as well basic standards and regulations concerning occupational law.

Basic knowledge on human physiology, chemistry and physics achieved in secondary school

He/she is skilled to distinguish critical events during work process, recognize typical problems and apply simple solutions concerning occupational safety, work efficiency and ergonomics in to day practice at the work place, private life and during studies. Analiza wybranych problemów z zakresu bezpieczeństwa pracy i ergonomii. Konstruowanie i analiza równań i wykresów zależności funkcji organizmu od własności fizyko-chemicznych środowiska pracy. Dyskusja nad problemami, wskazanie piśmiennictwa i źródeł internetowych.
