Module code: 1BT_37
Programme code: 01-S1BT12.2018
Semester:
  • summer semester 2020/2021
  • winter semester 2020/2021
  • summer semester 2019/2020
Language of instruction: Polish
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 4
Description:
The module provides broadened knowledge about structure and characterization of enzymes. The course focuses also on the influence of chemical and physical factors on the activity of enzymes. Special attention will be paid to induction of enzyme synthesis in Pro- and Eucaryota, the role of coenzymes and inhibitors in enzymes activity. The module describes also metabolic blocks and detoxification reaction. Module available at the semester 4, 5 or 6.
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics and statistic.
