Celem praktyk zawodowych jest poznanie zasad funkcjonowania, podziału kompetencji i procedur obowiązujących w placówkach, w których student odbywa praktykę. Praktyki powinny również rozwijać umiejętność wykorzystywania wiedzy zdobytej na studiach oraz przygotować studenta do samodzielnego funkcjonowania na rynku pracy.
