Description:
The module Optical crystals shall enable students understanding the role played by modern optical and liquid-crystal materials in modern microelectronic and nanoelectronic industry. It allows being knowledgeable about the classification of this materials' class, their properties and utilitarian prospects. Students learn the skill to acquire independently the knowledge about new materials structure and their applications.

Physics and chemistry on level I of engineering studies.
