Purpose and description of the content of education: |
Within the framework of the module, students acquire knowledge of the science of science as a cultural phenomenon embedded in values, language, institutions and social practices. The implementation of the module aims to prepare the student to practically apply the acquired knowledge and skills in areas concerning the understanding of science as part of culture (relations between science and other spheres of social life, reflection on the values, norms and language of science, development of critical thinking about science and its social role).
