Purpose and description of the content of education:
During this module, students acquire knowledge of basic research methods in cultural studies and prepare to conduct independent research on the functioning of libraries as cultural institutions. Participants will become familiar with both qualitative and quantitative research methods used in the discipline of cultural and religious studies, such as content analysis, the monographic method, the biographical method, and comparative methods. Particular emphasis will be placed on the use of these methods in the analysis of cultural institutions, with special attention to libraries as social and cultural spaces.
