Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarize students with a comprehensive analysis of children's and adolescent literature as a cultural, social and media phenomenon. The interdisciplinary approach to the subject includes knowledge of literature addressed to children and adolescents as a cultural element that: shapes values, ethical, aesthetic and cultural norms from the perspective of a non-adult audience; reflects social transformations (generational changes); functions in various socio-cultural contexts, taking into account the role of literature in the process of building the cultural identity of a young person. The module encourages critical reflection on how literature for young audiences responds to contemporary social challenges, how it shapes the attitudes of young audiences, and how it fits into the broader cultural and educational discourse.
