Purpose and description of the content of education: | The course aims to develop students’ language competencies in the field of English-language terminology related to information and library studies. Various types of terminological resources are introduced. Emphasis is placed on specialized vocabulary concerning the role of books, information, and libraries within the processes of social communication and the circulation of culture and knowledge. The course prepares students to use English effectively in academic and professional settings, as well as in practical situations that require proficient use of English-language information systems. |
