Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to provide knowledge in the field of editing contemporary publications for young readers, their typology and characteristic features, taking into account the cultural and historical context. Theoretical information is to facilitate the typology, characterization of various forms of texts for children and young people and their assessment against the background of cultural conditions. As a result, the student should be aware of the continuity of processes taking place in the formation of separate editorial features of books and magazines addressed to young readers, but also of socio-cultural changes that affect the emergence of new forms of publications addressed to children and young people, often under the influence of progress in the field of digital technologies.
