Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to provide knowledge about the historical development of culture from archaic times to the present, allowing for the description and critical evaluation of the cultural products of human activity. The student will learn the basic terminology and the multi-aspect nature of culture, understood as the entire material and non-material achievements of humanity, with particular emphasis on the history of European culture. In the historical context, it also seems important to show the audience religious beliefs and their connections with different cultures. As a result, the student will be able to identify the effects of cultural activity, will be aware of the continuity of cultural processes and will be able to demonstrate initiative in tracking these changes. |
