Purpose and description of the content of education:
W ramach modułu student zdobędzie wiedzę z zakresu historii kulturowej książki rękopiśmiennej od antyku do średniowiecza, z uwzględnieniem powstania, ewolucji, kulturowych ról pisma i książki, ich wytwórców, a także instytucji z nimi związanych, w kręgach różnych cywilizacji i ich kultur. Student pozna kształtowanie się książki rękopiśmiennej, w tym szczegółowe zagadnieniami jak. np. z estetykę, praktyki piśmiennicze czy techniki książki okresu rękopiśmiennego. Ponadto Student będzie prawidłowo stosował terminologię z zakresu poruszanych zagadnień, a także będzie potrafił krytycznie oceniać literaturę przedmiotu. Realizacja modułu powinna wykształcić świadomość odpowiedzialności za zachowanie dziedzictwa kultury związanego ze słowem pisanym.
