Purpose and description of the content of education:
W ramach modułu studenci zdobędą wiedzę z zakresu kształtowania się i rozwoju książki jako obiektu sztuki oraz obecności sztuki w przestrzeni książki. Realizacja modułu ma umożliwić studentowi zdefiniowanie pojęcia książki artystycznej, wyróżnienie jej charakterystycznych cech, zobrazowanie etapów jej powstawania (technik druku, ilustracji, opraw artystycznych) oraz form artystycznej kreacji (np. instalacji). Student powinien być w stanie wskazać najważniejsze style książki jako dzieła sztuki, posiadać wiedzę o twórcach książki artystycznej w Polsce i za granicą, a także znać instytucje związane z tą tematyką (organizacje bibliofilskie, muzea książki i druku, wydawnictwa artystyczne) oraz portale internetowe jej poświęcone.

Student posiada wiedzę na temat podstawowej metodologii, terminologii oraz kierunków rozwoju sztuki, w kontekście których lokuje książkę. Elementy artystycznej kreacji książki odnosi do kulturowych uwarunkowań kształtowania się jej formy, typografii oraz funkcji komunikacyjnej książki jako obiektu sztuki. [MWKSZ02_01]
