Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to introduce students to the basic issues of communicology with an emphasis on their practical application in everyday and professional life. The subject combines the theoretical foundations of communication science with a functional approach, focusing on interpersonal communication as a key area of social competence. Students will learn the main models and functions of communication, but most importantly, they will learn to recognize, analyze and apply communication strategies in different contexts: personal, group, organizational and intercultural. The classes are interactive - they include exercises, simulations, case studies and reflection on one's own communication style.

The student knows the basic concepts, theories and models of communication, including interpersonal communication. Has knowledge of the functions of communication in various social, cultural and organizational contexts. Understands the importance of communication barriers and mechanisms for overcoming them.
