Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarize the student with Latin maxims (sentences), Latin legal phrases and expressions used in legal practice and the study of law. Within the module, students learn both the dogmatic and the genetic (historical) context. Particular attention is paid to the use of Latin terminology in its practical and scholarly application within the framework of contemporary legal discourse. The course also covers the use of Latin terminology in legal argumentation and rhetoric. The module also aims to acquaint the student with rhetorical principles and techniques, enhance these skills, and prepare a speech using appropriate terminology. |
