Purpose and description of the content of education: | The goal of the module is to introduce students to the evolution of the basic concepts and institutions of public law, with particular emphasis on constitutional law, and the paths of their development. Students are introduced to the historical evolution of the state systems of the major countries of the world, analysing the reasons for the differences in political systems. Particular focus is placed on understanding the changes in law-making methods and state governance, including the evolution of the constitutional institutions that form the foundation of European legal culture. The course also covers issues of constitutionalism and codification, showing the historical background of the emergence of the constitution and the institution of judicial law. The aim of the module is to present the evolution of the political system of states in a comparative context. The module covers the history of the political system in Poland, as well as the main elements of the political systems of: England, Germany, France, the United States of America and Russia. The module introduces detailed problems of the social and political system. |
