Celem modułu jest specjalizowanie wiedzy o kluczowych koncepcjach i podejściach badawczych dotyczących kultury jako zjawiska społecznego, historycznego i symbolicznego oraz pogłębianie wiedzy o wybranych aspektach i teoriach kultury, które kształtowały dyskurs akademicki w XX i XXI wieku, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem perspektyw niemieckich badaczek i badaczy kultury.
