Purpose and description of the content of education:
Kierownik produkcji winien być człowiekiem wszechstronnym. By przyzwoicie wykonywać zawód musi znać się na różnych, wymagających często przeciwnych cech osobowości elementach warsztatu. Nieoczywistość tworzywa, różnorodność predyspozycji, zmienność warunków, wysokie koszty produkcji, a jednocześnie skala wymagań które stawia realizacja każdego filmu sprawiają, że zawodu kierownika produkcji nie można nauczyć się teoretycznie. Tylko praktyka pozwala połączyć ze sobą wszystkie składowe produkcji utworu audiowizualnego w całość. Celem kursu zajęć warsztatowych jest stworzenie w przestrzeni szkoły filmowej miejsca do nieustannego wzbogacania umiejętności i kompetencji społecznych niezbędnych do efektywnego wykonywania zawodu.
