Purpose and description of the content of education: | The purpose of the mid-year teaching internship conducted in an elementary school is to accumulate experience related to the teaching and educational work of a teacher at the second educational stage (grades VII - VIII of elementary school) and to confront the acquired knowledge of chemistry, general didactics and chemistry didactics with the pedagogical reality in practical action. During the internship, the formation of basic teaching competencies takes place through: - getting acquainted with the specifics of the school where the teaching practice is carried out, in particular, getting acquainted with the teaching tasks carried out by the school, the way it functions, the organization of work, the various employees - participants in the pedagogical processes, as well as the documentation kept; - observing the activity of students and all activities undertaken by the school teacher in the course of his lessons (classes); - Interacting with the teacher and the instructor in planning and conducting chemistry lessons; - performing the role of a teacher, in particular, planning chemistry lessons at the second educational stage, formulating the objectives, selecting methods and forms of work and didactic means, organizing and conducting lessons on the basis of independently developed scenarios and discussing the collected experiments in a group of students (listeners); - responding appropriately to comments on the preparation and conduct of lessons. |
