Programme code: | W2-S1BI19.2025 |
Semester: | winter semester 2027/2028 |
Language of instruction: | Polish |
Form of verification: | exam |
ECTS credits: | 4 |
Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the Organic Chemistry II module is to familiarise students with the most important concepts in organic chemistry in the context of teacher training. Students learn about the relationships between the structure of organic compounds and their physical and chemical properties. They learn about the reactions typical for particular classes of compounds and the mechanisms of their course, as well as the structure and some reactions of selected organic compounds naturally occurring in nature. Students learn techniques for working in an organic chemistry laboratory and apply them in practice during the synthesis of simple organic preparations. They learn the basics of qualitative analysis of organic compounds. They learn how to document the experiments they have carried out. |
