Purpose and description of the content of education:
The objective of the module is for the student to acquire knowledge, skills, and competences in the area of legal regulations concerning the principles of environmental use. During the course, the student learns about the organizational structure of environmental protection law, its most important institutions and instruments, and the procedures that enable their practical application. The module course helps students understand the role that environmental protection issues play in the politics and economy of a modern state. As part of the module, the student becomes familiar with basic information regarding Polish environmental protection law, particularly in the following areas: sources of law, selected environmental proceedings, so-called "emission law," the use of economic instruments for environmental protection, nature conservation, and the management of geological environmental resources.
