Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module Professional internships - entrepreneurship is carried out in the block of modules B for three semesters. During its implementation, original group projects are developed and implemented in a model manner in stationary mode during classes or learning outcomes are realized in entities of any sector of socio-economic activity. For example, in public administration (sector I), in business (sector II) or non-governmental organizations (sector III). The aim of the classes is to promote social activity and support initiatives in the field of organizing and conducting unconventional integration, promotional, scientific, research, charity and other projects in the sphere of culture and art. The classes provide: experience of teamwork and project work according to a business model; practical managerial skills used in managing an artistic project - planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, evaluation; measurable effects of projects - charity, integration, multimedia or information projects. By carrying out professional internships in market entities, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are acquired, and by efficiently using their managerial skills and competences, they boldly take on planning challenges of an innovative nature. Passing the module is also possible based on verification of learning outcomes as part of running your own business or professional work based on Order No. 92 of the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice of 22 June 2020 on specifying guidelines for organizing student internships at the University of Silesia in Katowice and Order No. 92 of the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice of 27 June 2022 regarding organization, etc. (Annex 6). The legal basis for organizing internships - entrepreneurship is the provisions of: the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574, as amended) and Order of the Rector of the University of Silesia 92/2020 and Order of the Rector of the University of Silesia 92/2022
