Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module provides knowledge, skills and pedagogical competences necessary for teaching. Educational content: 1. The structure of education in Poland (stages of education, types and kinds of schools according to various criteria of division, permeability and universality of education and the phenomenon of exclusion) 2. School management (bodies running and supervising schools, the phenomenon of closing schools and its economic contexts, non-state institutions and organizations running schools, compulsory education and home schooling of students) 3. Evaluation of the quality of school work (humanistic and scientistic approach, mode, tools and other formal frameworks for measuring the quality of school work, remedial programs, school rankings and their importance, added value, etc.) 4. School and teacher in relation to other public institutions supporting their work (psychological and pedagogical counseling center, police, religious associations, social welfare centers, etc.). 5. The Polish education system compared to systems in other countries (in the EU and outside the EU). 6. Principles of obtaining and expanding pedagogical qualifications (professional advancement, system of education and professional development, formal requirements and actual pedagogical competences) 7. Structure of teaching teams (teacher as a subordinate, collaborator and superior, relationship to extra-school educational authorities)
