Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Negotiations and Communication in Artistic Organizations module allows you to familiarize yourself with issues related to communication processes in groups, teams and organizations, and on the other hand, it allows you to improve your own communication skills. This applies especially to negotiation and mediation skills. In addition, acquiring knowledge in the field of social communication and the ability to analyze the most important phenomena in this area in the contemporary world. An important goal of the classes is to shape the ability to independently analyze phenomena, discover the connections between theory and practice and the ability to think critically. Topics of the course: 1. The essence and types of interpersonal communication 2. Verbal communication (persuasion, asking questions, orders and commands, etc.) 3. Nonverbal communication, the art of persuasion and the use of space to influence others 4. Self-presentation (position, facial expressions, clothing, posture, touch) 5. The essence of negotiations and negotiation styles 6. Negotiation techniques and strategies 7. The negotiation process, conditioning and estimation of values, striving for BATNA 8. Eristics, as the art of conducting a dispute. 9. A difficult partner in negotiations 10. The nature and techniques of conflict resolution 11. Transactional analysis and the use of ego states to build a message aimed at agreement 12. Games and simulations in negotiations 13. Intercultural negotiations
