Purpose and description of the content of education: | The implementation of the module allows the student to develop the ability to respond to a problem based on inter-area thinking and using tools appropriate for the topic.
Implements an individual or team artistic project on a given topic, planning, distinguishing the goal from the effect, treating each stage of work equally seriously. The module requires the student to have a systematic approach, freedom to move around various disciplines of knowledge, courage in reaching for means enabling the construction of the right message. Creative projects are to connect the area of art with the area of popularizing culture, hence the emphasis in the implementation of the module on the ability to communicate/comment/place the project in the area of the field of art (both in relation to the past and current trends), as well as consciously exhibiting/presenting the implementation. Creative projects also involve experiencing the difference between an idea and an experience. Outlining an artistic response to a given problem, the artist is also expected to plan a course of action, take into account needs and possibilities, and finally confront the final artistic expression with the initially outlined goal, drawing conclusions and relating them to broader social and cultural contexts. The module is also intended to develop the ability to think continuously, by recognizing the stages of work in a broader context as well as drawing possible subsequent developments of the artistically analyzed topic. Within this module, art is treated as a research method |
